Sir Robert Cecil's Men

We are an Elizabethan/Tudor theatre group that tour the length and breadth of Britain and Europe, en-acting excerpts from period theatre. Our small group has, collectively, over 200 years in re-enactment and theatre. We only perform a small select number of engagements each year but offer a unique and unforgettable take on a late Elizabethan traveling company of players. We as players not only expect audience participation but actively encourage it, especially between performances in our fully equipped ‘tiring’ area. We even have auditions and recruit members of the public to join us on stage.

Our mission is to enhance the experience of the venue or event to which we are booked, becoming part of the attraction and ultimately making the whole experience not only enjoyable for the audience but for us as well. By making the whole thing as realistic as possible, but still maintaining a light hearted approach, we hope that the audience will remember us, and our show, and encourage the re-booking of our small but handsome company of players.
