Bad weather and fanatical French resistance at Harfleur have cost the English dearly. With the campaign season all but over and the disease ridden heat of summer giving way to autumnal downpours, the English must make for winter quarters. Meanwhile the French have recovered from their initial beatings and put a huge army into the field. After days of marching, trying to reach the safety of Calais ahead of the French army, King Henry’s men are disappointed to find their path blocked by the mighty French host. Hopelessly outnumbered, exhausted from their long journey and desperately ill with dysentery, the English army must put their trust in God and steel to fight their way through to the north and survival.

Chorus Captain Richard Stanton

A mere 2 years after Richard III usurped the crown with the bloody murder of his nephews, Henry Tudor is ready to free England from the yoke of tyranny. The epic struggle of the rightful heirs to the throne of England culminates with the Battle of Bosworth Field. Will Henry Tudor’s brave army prevail and bring peace to troubled England, or will the evil hunch back lead his reluctant forces to victory and visit murder upon the Lancastrian cause once again?
