With the campaign season all but over and the disease ridden heat of summer giving way to autumnal downpours, the English must make for winter quarters. Meanwhile the French have recovered from their initial beatings and put a huge army into the field. After days of marching, trying to reach the safety of Calais ahead of the French army, King Henry’s men are disappointed to find their path blocked by the mighty French host.
